What is a Siamese fighting fish?
This is the ‘Siamese fighting fish’, known as the betta. Bettas are known to be highly territorial. Males are prone to high levels of aggression and will attack each other if housed in the same tank. It is not recommended to keep male and female bettas together, only temporarily for breeding purposes.
